A conversation about the right checks
Health screening is not one-size-fits-all. A GP can discuss your age, medical and family history, current symptoms and health goals before explaining which checks may be appropriate or whether further assessment is needed.
Prepare for a screening discussion
- Bring identification and relevant previous medical information.
- Make a note of current medication where appropriate.
- Share only the health information necessary for the consultation.
- Ask questions about follow-up and when results will be discussed.
Please note:
Screening information on this page is general education, not a personalised recommendation or diagnosis.
